What if you could go back in time and change the course of history?11.22.63, the date that Kennedy was shot - unless.... King takes his protagonist Jake Epping, a high school English teacher from Lisbon Falls, Maine, 2011, on a fascinating journey back to 1958 - from a world of mobile phones and iPods to a new world of Elvis and JFK, of Plymouth Fury cars and Lindy Hopping, of a troubled loner named Lee Harvey Oswald and a beautiful high school librarian named Sadie Dunhill who becomes the love of Jake's life.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great story. The premise of time travelling to alter events is really interesting, but the author goes into way too much detail about things that don't affect the storyline. I found myself wishing that the story would just get to the point. I wanted to hear this book so badly, but found myself really bored and disappointed. It would have been fantastic in an abridged format!

The narrator is great and does a good job.

I've read these books when they were first released many years ago.....

I'm actually impressed with the audiobook. It doesn't seem to drag as much as some of the text did. I've already bought the second and third one of the series and I reckon I'll eventually complete the series.

If you're a fan of the print books, then you'll like the audiobooks.

Both of the narrators do a great job of putting on different accents for different characters, which makes it an enjoyable listen.

"Discworld is more complicated and satisfactory than Oz," says Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. "Truly original. Pratchett creates a brilliant excess of delectable detail!" Hogfather is a Discworld Christmas tale - not to be missed! Browse more novels of Discworld.

It's taken me forever to pick up a Terry Pratchett novel. I'm so glad that I finally have! This book features Death who's just such a fabulous character. You can't help but feel sorry for him! The narrator does a great job of the different voices and the storyline is just brilliant and full of laughs.

    A credit well spent!

This book is really as good as the hype suggests. It's not very often you can say that! Usually, if everyone's reading it, I avoid it. But I'm glad I gave this a go as I couldn't put it down.

The narrators are fantastic and do a brilliant job of bringing life to the characters.

The story itself is brilliantly ordinary. The characters are human. I feel like it has given me a snapshot of a different place and time. Really glad I listened to this book!!!

If you're a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother, then this won't really be anything new (remember the episode with the scuba diver?). However it's still hillarious in a Barney-esque way and an entertaining listen. Definitely got some good giggles from it.

The expansion of the congestion charge zone, prices going up on the Underground, bendy buses - all ideas brought about to try to make the traffic situation in our capital city run more smoothly. Surely there must be a better way? In fact there is. In Roman times, when the streets were even more crowded, Caesar decreed that all vehicles (except those involved in building work) were banned from the City, while Nero took advantage of a major fire to broaden the streets to improve access.

I found this to be a selection of rants, rather than anything well thought out or insightful. I've only listened to half of it and won't waste my time on the rest. Wish I had of saved my money!

Soon other body parts are being found in the aqueducts and sewers. Public panic overcomes official indifference, and the Aventine partners are commissioned to investigate. Women are being abducted during festivals, and the next Games are only days away.

Very excited to be finally able to get this as an audiobook - my Falco collection is now complete! Rodska is a sensational narrator and does great justice to Falco.

    Fantastic!
