Love these books. I dont normally like dog novels..although I do love dogs. But I happened on this accidently and have been hooked ever since. The dogs eye view if funny and really captures dog behavior..at least from a human perspective. My only criticism is he does occassionaly subject Chet to some abuse by a perpetrator ..usually when they are solving a crime. And he needs to keep in mind that real dog could not withstand some of the things that happen to Chet. This book has less of that I am happy to say! Great book: as are the others,. Recommend it highly: Very entertaining.
Narrator is fantastic
I kept waiting for the book to take off: it did not. It was frustrating and did not seem like a Grisham novel at all. I did not care for the characters. Normally I love Grishams books, but this time I am very disappointed. Sorry John: tell your stories from a male perspective from now on.
Not as good as Grisham's other books. Started out good, but lost me as it progressed. Narrator was good though
I normally really enjoy this series by Johnson: especially the information about native americans, but found this novel too dark and depressing. It was an epic journey type of adventure. predictable and very dark. I prefer a broader story range. I found myself listening just to get to the end. George Guidall was wonderful as usual.
Loved Rosenfelts other books..but disappointed in this one. It lacked the humor, the likeable characterization..the dogs. Tara.Hope he writes more with Andy.
wrirte more in the dog series.
