The story was as always great. The ongoing stuff that Rachel gets herself into is always a laugh in it's own right. Its also comforting to know her friends will have her back and get her out of the most hair razing jams she gets into.
I have been hooked on the subject of magic and witches since I was a kid this just added to love all the more. Each book is like my Halloween dream come true.
yes very interesting and very insightful by how she keeps her readers guessing about the fate of the caricatures.I always hate when the books end and I have to wait to get the next one.
The narrator was not the greatest. I missed Marguerite Gavin and what her voice brought to the different caricatures. Ivy with her lusty voice Jenx and his don't give a dame attitude and Al boy she sure knows how to do him well. Plus how Marguerite pronounced the different names. Gigi lacked the skill for the different voices after a bit they all sounded the same.
I will be heartbroken when this book series will be completed,I will be hard pressed to find another series to fallow faithfully as I have done with this one, Kim keep up the great work.
The fast pace of the story
This is my first audio book series so I really don't have a comparison one yet.
The different voice styles of the caricatures.
When Rachael had to relive the death of her father. It moved me to tears.
I look forward to getting Kim Harrison's other books as soon as I can.
