Yes and no. There's good content, but it's very watered-down by the authors' self-absorption. So much of it is about irrelevant aspects of their life and no so much about the master key system. It was fairly annoying.
I didn't like the characters... I did not want to hear a biography about these *amazing* authors/"characters."
Don't waste your time... find a more direct source of information on this topic if you are interested.
Yes. This is fantastic... it far exceeds my expectations in presenting logical and optimistic facts on the elusive topic of happiness.
Yes. It's hard to walk away from, and short enough to listen to in one sitting.
Incredible presentation. Very well done.
Of course! I do repeatedly. Joseph Campbell is one of the most insightful and articulate and genuine sources of inspiration I've ever encountered. He's become an imaginary mentor for me! So, naturally, I replay anything I have of him speaking.
I don't have many other audio books like it... the interview format makes it seem like just that: an interview, and not so much an audiobook. That's fine, though. Who cares!? It's still great content and Campbell is still the amazing orator he is.
Michael Toms is okay. He asks good questions. Joseph Campbell is very much "on his game" in this interview, and he explores new topics and emphasizes new ideas.
"A Cup of Joe" [geeze I don't know... haha]
This is worth it! Campbell's message is vital in today's world.
One of the best, for sure. It is poignant and moving and wise. I feel it conveys the understandings we need right now.
Umm... GOD! Because... it's GOD!
Yes, almost all of them. They're still keeping the material fresh and are truly with all of it. I have always liked the trading off between male and female voices for God.
Please, please, please... at least TRY and live by this.
I of course recommend beginning with the first three before listening to this or the others. After the first three, I found it didn't matter in which order I was listening to, or reading, the books. But the first three are essential, and something I don't think one would want to miss out on before listening to this audio.
