I read the Honor Harrington books when I was a kid many years ago and had mostly forgotten about them since then. I was delighted to find these after I re-discovered David Weber in his new Safehold series. I have now listened to most of the Honor books again and am thrilled with both the content and the reader. Audible you are doing a great service to readers everywhere who only have time to read in the car (most of us poor CA folks who have great weather but a horrible commute) by spreading this wonderful series of Sci-Fi to new and old Sci-Fi readers alike. Great job Audible Frontiers. If you have not read the Honor series I highly recommend it if you are a Sci-Fi fan or just like a good story. It is an entertaining story which will keep you entertained.

The opening few chapters kind of threw me a bit and I thought I would not like the story but I was wrong, just finished the third book and really enjoyed the whole thing, well worth the time.

Just could not get into it, this was plodding to me, it's hard to define what I did not like about it but I just did not care about any of the players involved.

While I don't like it when they change readers in a series any more than anyone else, I found I got over it after a couple of hours listening. Listen to the sample to see if you think you will be annoyed or can get over it before buying, that way you know what your are getting. If it bothers you too much than buy the paper book instead.

It's ridiculous to give a book 1 star because they changed readers.

If you read the others you will probably want to read this one also but not at the top of your list.

Book does a great job of tying up all the plots that have come before, can't wait for the final installment.

I'm not sure what the negative review was about, this book is certainly gritty and dark but the characters are interesting and much more believable than the norm for a fiction book. I have read fiction from everyone for many years now running the gambit from sci-fi/fantasy to thrillers and this is an entertaining story how ever definitely for adults not young readers. If you like a good story with engaging characters then you will probably like this book. If you are offended by harsh language or violence this book is not for you. The greatest endorsement I can give it is that I bought the second book instead of waiting for credits for three more days! Enough said!

First audio book I have not finished, did not even make it 30 minutes. Must be for a paticular audience. Listen to a sample first if you can.
