In The Lost Hero, three demigods named Jason, Piper, and Leo made their first visit to Camp Half-Blood, where they inherited a quest.

I really enjoyed Rick Riordan's latest installment in his 'Heroes' series. Percy, Frank and Hazel are engaging, and -- as always -- the side characters are hilarious. I believe Joshua Swanson's performance has improved a great deal since 'The Lost Hero'. In that book, there were some instances where his cadence was just seemed weird, but there's very little if any of that in this performance. His portrayal of the god Terminus also made me laugh out loud.

It was whispered all through London society that he was a murderer, that he'd spent his youth in an asylum and was not to be trusted - especially with a lady. Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

Lupdilup says: "FANTASTIC BOOK, NICELLY PERFORMED."
"Great story; Good Performance; Weird editing"

If you could sum up The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie in three words, what would they be?

    Sexy, fun and sexy.

    Any additional comments?

The story and narration were very good, but there were odd pauses in the middle of conversations that was a little off putting. Some of them go on for so long that I look down to see if my ipod has accidentally turned off. I don't think it's the narrator -- I think the editor didn't do a very good job in linking up tracks.
