Fans of the Sofie Metropolis audiobooks are saddened at the passing of Narrator Anna Fields and we miss her way of bringing Greek America to the rest of us. Ms Rogers does a capable job of of continuing the story, but I would find myself missing the way Anna spoke certain words or voices. Aside from the narrator issue, I enjoyed the story and hope that the author will continue with the new storyline direction introduced at the end of the book.
Incredible narration makes this great book even better. Christopher Lane is just incredible. This story has many german accents and he manages to have different sounding german accents for each of them. You always know who is talking based on the timbre of the accent. Truly a gifted narrator. To be perfectly honest, I've only read a handful of Dean Koontz and this story has really stayed with me. I find the premise fascinating. Listen to this book! You'll enjoy the story and love the narrator!
