At first I found the narrator's voice annoying like he was preaching or something, not like he was "talking", ... but eventually you just get used to it. The book is, of course a wonderful read, and really wonder can all of that have happened to one guy on the road??? I read the Alchemist, and this is similar metaphysical renderings and teachings. I enjoyed it and would recommend it
I love how Ken is able to teach you history in such an interesting manner. I learned a lot about the first world war that I had not put together or had forgotten from high school. His characters are interesting and varied. I certainly enjoyed it start to finish
At first the narrator's voice was so slllloooowww and labourious, and inappropritate pauses in the syntax of the sentence, but I kept going ... in the end he was able to differentiate the characters appropriately and it was quite enjoyable to listen to,
the story was, of course, very good, very pleasant as these books are always!
