Visiting an art museum displaying a retrospective of acclaimed photographer Kathy Moran's work, aspiring novelist Stacey Kim is stunned by the photo at the center of the show - the famous Woman with a Gun, which won a Pulitzer Prize and launched the photographer's career. Shot from behind, the enigmatic black-and-white image is a picture of a woman in a wedding dress, standing on the shore at night, facing the sea. Behind her back, she holds a six-shooter.

I always like this author, and constantly look for new books by him. When I saw the cover , I was afraid he had reverted to romance novel, however, I couldn't have been more wrong. I missed Shawn Scully, but liked the new guy, Jack (prosecutor from Oregon. The plot was interesting, and the ending a surprise. Good book

I liked the story. I have decided that I like Yuki, and her romance with Brady. I wish these type of people were real. I have a hard time with Boxer and her relationship with Julie, It is impossible to be on duty day and night and maintain a relationship with a infant. Maybe the 5th member of the team needs to be a Nanny who cares for the baby. All and all this was a good book and hard to put down,

I tried at least three times to get into this book. It was awful, hard to understand. I can't believe Baldacci put his name on this book. The Narrator is fairy like, in appropriate for his usual story. Next time I won't just order because it says Baldacci on it. I am past fairy tales and other world fantasies. maybe I am being unkind, as I said I couldn't get past chapter 3.

He is unfit for duty - until he meets his new partner. Maggie is not doing so well, either. The German shepherd survived three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan sniffing explosives before she lost her handler to an IED and sniper attack, and her PTSD is as bad as Scott’s. Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life you’d find in the pages of a glossy magazine: A beautiful 14-year-old daughter. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by all. A perfect life. When investigator Tessa Leone arrives at the crime scene in the foyer of the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and a million tiny pieces of bright green Taser confetti. The family appears to have been abducted.

Would you consider the audio edition of Touch & Go to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, so I'm not sure. I enjoy listening to my books as I travel in my job, and while I do my chores. It is a great way to keep up with my favorite authors

What did you like best about this story?

The ending, though I had it figured out about 3/4 through the book.

Which character – as performed by Elisabeth Rodgers – was your favorite?

Probably Ashlin. I admired her spunk.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did get hooked on it in a couple of places and carried it in to the house and just sat and listened.

    Any additional comments?

I would like this author to write more mysteries, and less romance. She is very good.

In Ava’s dreams, her son, Noah, looks just the way she remembers him: a sweet two-year-old in rolled-up jeans and a red sweatshirt. When Ava wakes, the agonizing truth hits her all over again. Noah went missing two years ago, and his body has never been found. Almost everyone, including Ava’s semi-estranged husband, Wyatt, assumes the boy drowned after falling off the dock near their Church Island home. Ava has spent most of the past two years in and out of Seattle mental institutions, shattered by grief and unable to recall the details of Noah’s disappearance.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I would say that the book is not one I would purchase again

The reader is okay. I could listen to it and do other things
