I was thrilled when I found a ST:VOY audio. The story was good, interesting and fun. I hope there are more...
But the highlight was Kate Mulgrew narrating. She was fabulous and it made the story much more realistic!! Keep them coming Jeri!!

New York Times best-selling author Diana Gabaldon enchanted scores of fans with Outlander, her electrifying historical saga set in 18th-century Scotland. Now this sequel sweeps listeners back into the past as Claire relates more of her perilous sojourn there with her Scottish warrior husband, James Fraser. Twenty years after her strange journey back in time, Claire has returned to Scotland with her daughter, determined to share with her the secret she has harbored since her time travel.

Gabaldon can be long winded, but I don't mind that when listening in the car. I just love listening to the narrator; Davina Porter is wonderful. I was interested in what happened to the characters from Outlander and it was well worth the read.

  • 11-22-63: A Novel

    • UNABRIDGED (30 hrs and 44 mins)

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

I've never read a Stephen King before because I do not like horror at all. I was not sure how I would feel about reading one of his books, but bought it anyway. What an incredible writer and how well he handled this very complex subject. Truly amazing!!! And the narrator was the best I've ever listened to; you can tell who's speaking just by his change in voice inflection. Great choice.

I am usually very discriminating with romantic fiction. This book was much more than I expected. Slow in the beginning, but worth the time invested. Made me want to find other books by the author.
