What disappointed you about The Werewolf's Wife?

This is one of the slowest moving stories I have every listened to. It seemed like the author is filling in events and giving detail when it isn't necessary. This is one of the weakest books I have ever listened to. If I were reading the book I wouldn't have read it past the first three pages.

What could Michele Hauf have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The action is poor. The story is boring. There are really no surprises you know where the story is going.

What didn’t you like about Sasha Dunbrook’s performance?

She didn't add any to the book. The book wasn't interesting.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment, I just felt the story dragged on and on.

    Any additional comments?

The characters are weak. The story is stale. I regret any money I spent on the book.

A smashing, award-winning debut novel that introduces Charley Davidson: part-time private investigator and full-time Grim Reaper Charley sees dead people. That’s right, she sees dead people. And it’s her job to convince them to “go into the light.” But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (i.e. murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice.

If you could sum up First Grave on the Right in three words, what would they be?

    Funny, Entertaining, Pleased

What other book might you compare First Grave on the Right to and why?

    None comes to mind

Have you listened to any of Lorelei King’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have. I have a number of books she has narrated. I like her style a great deal.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, I like it all but no particular part stood out for me.

    Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the book. The author is a good sense of humor.

Rowan Summerwaite is no ordinary woman. Physical vessel to the Celtic goddess Brigid and raised by the leader of the Vampire Nation, she's a supercharged hunter with the power to slay any vampire who violates the age-old treaty. A recent string of murders has her at odds with Las Vegas's new Scion, the arrogant and powerful Clive Stewart. The killings have the mark of Vampire all over them, and Rowan warns Clive to keep his people in line - or she'll mete out her own brand of justice.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to several of my friends. There many trademarks in this book I like. The story is well written in my opinion, there is attitude from the main characters, the book has mystery, sex, mythology and vampires. I have listened to the book several times and enjoyed it every time. This something I don't usually do.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Goddess with a Blade?

When Rowan calls The First during one of her conversations with Clive. In spite of her rocky relationship with The First, she continues to honor him even when she is not in his presence. The First is over joyed to hear from her as well, lets her know she is missed. Clive witnesses the respect Rowan has for the First and the admiration the First has for Rowan, he then realizes he will not be getting his way. Clive witness something probably no one has witnessed there is a real father daughter relationship there. Even is Rowan doesn't believe it so.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Sex on the desk.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    I am not sure.

    Any additional comments?

This book has a way of making a really awful day better. I really enjoyed the book.

Envy's life was great. Great brother, great boyfriend, and the best job a girl could ask for... tending bar at the most popular clubs in the city. At least it was great until she got a call from one of her best friends about her boyfriend doing the vertical limbo on the dance floor at Moon Dance. Her decision to confront him begins a chain of events that will introduce her to a dangerous paranormal world hidden beneath the everyday humdrum.

Would you try another book from Amy Blankenship and R. K. Melton and/or K. B. Stanford?

I might try Amy Blankenship but I didn't like K.B. Standford and probably won't purchase if she is narrator.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Faith Hunter's New novel.

    What didn’t you like about K. B. Stanford’s performance?

There was nothing interesting about her voice or the way she delivers the story. In short she is boring. I have had novels that are borning but the narrator made me continue to listen to because there were good to great. I didn't even want to continue after Cain and Tabithia were re-introduced into the novel.

What character would you cut from Moon Dance?

The novel is borning. I am sorry I lost interest in the novel altogether

    Any additional comments?

I really hope the author's next novel is better.

I loved the book but hated the narrator. I did not like the narrator's voice and his pronouncation of names of the characters. However, I did say with book until the end. It appeared there was a voice change near the end of the book. I could really enjoyed the bood as I enjoy all of Ms. Kenyon's novels in all of the dark series.
