I give the actual book a 5 ***** but the narrator ruined it for me.I love all of the J.D. Robb series so was thrilled to finally see them on Audible, until I actually listened to one. The narrator tries to hard I would have enjoyed it more if she had read it without trying to do the voices. Roarke sounds like a young girl and Peabody sounds like an old man. If voices are not your strong point then just stick with reading the book with a strong voice and enthusiasm and leave the accents etc.. alone. Couldn't even finish the first half.
I love the character in this book even when she is driving me to distraction with her quirky antics. Makes you laugh no matter how you look at it because she always see's more to the picture than could ever be possibly there.
Good book Sophie did it again.
This was the first Stephen King book I have read that I was not bored with his over use of the English language, I usually get a little tired of his wordiness but this is not the case with Cell. From the first few minutes I was hooked couldn't wait to hear the next chapter, however the ending was highly dissapointing as it leaves you without any real closure.
