-Indeed, the authors' views come from a critical yet respectful reading of the new testament gospels.
-I thought it was well read.
I fully recommend the abridged version. The story is concise, yet it's highly cohesive and powerful.
The content of this book is evenly split between the science and personality of Einstein.

-Indeed, familiarity with this subject is required to fully enjoy this book.
-Awesome insight and evidence for evolution of human structures, organs, and molecular biology.
-This book increased my understanding and awe of this living planet.
-The narrator was great.
-The storyline is classic: a horrifying vietnam experience motivates Venter to "live life to its fullest". Provides great insight into the personal motivations of a world class scientist.
- Good balance of the "tabloid politics" with the hardcore science of sequencing the human genome. Note, prior genetics knowledge is not required, but it will definitely enrich the experience.
-Also, I thought the Narration was excellent.
