Yes to refresh myself with the concepts & stories. Learning to work together so the outcome is satisifying for both parties.
Couple learning to compromise on painting the bathroom walls different colors.
You would think he is the author.
It's not about winning, it's about compromising and listening.
If it is a person who reads Grisham I would say maybe. This book was not what I expected from John Grisham. I have read or listened to everyone of his books. It had the law factor, but did not have the punch I was expecting.
I did not like the ending, I wanted to know the decisions on the cases that Sam had. I felt that it left you hanging/wondering on her relationship with Jeff. Perhaps he has plans to write a sequel to this book?
I don't know, but she was not a favorite of mine. No one comes to mind at this moment. It was hard get the changing in person in her narration. I'm use to many of the male voices in the Grisham books. It was different with the female voice, I guess she was just a bit too soft.
No it did not inspire me to do anything. It did give me a new perspective on the world of coal mining. How it has affected the environment and families. That aspect of the book enlightened me to how large corporations have no regard for doing what's right.
If there is another book that you really want, you can pass this.....but I can understand knowing for yourself is something that might draw you in, especially the Grisham name. I don't know what he was thinking, I still like the author, but this book is not one of his best.
Don't know, I only have finished the audio version. This is an excellent book for audio, especially if you have read or listened to other Grisham books. I did about 5 hours at one sitting.
A Time to Kill because Sycamore Row is another story in the city of Canton. It's a revisit to the city and a case that involves Jake again. This case has lots of twist and turns. It's another story involving the people that live in the town. Introducing old characters and giving more information/insight into the families that had their paths crossed & how it related to Seth's final decision.
When the jury gets a chance to see the video where Seth's brother tells his story of their life as adolescents. The background of their relationship involving their father. He explains and gives more understanding as to why his brother changed his will.
Yes it was and I tried my best to as much as possible. I made it in 3 days got the Mount Everest badge!
Listen to this book, you will not be disappointed. Grisham is a great writer.
Good story line, lots of characters, narrating is excellent.
Her last book, Who Asked You Anyway, it was another book that surrounds family.
Family reading each others letters. Touching.
Paris, the dinner conversation be so interesting; & she would know her way around the menu.
Learning the moral.
I don't remember one that stands out, but all of the stories give a moral. It's experience the trials and triumphs of others.
I listened to this series & its entertaining. If you like murder/mysteries with a bit of drama this is a series you might like. I have read other books by Eric Jerome Dickey & his style of writing, so I decided to listen to this series. If you are a fan of his take a chance, its not boring at all.
Gideon of course, he's the man.
Entertaining male voice. Makes you visualize.
Beware of "Waking with Enemies"
I've listened to the other books in this series in order and I enjoyed continuing this story line.
Gideon, he is complex, driven and he has a goal.
I have listened to Dion Graham, he's excellent. I like his voice. Can't remember if I've listened to Susan Ericksen before, but she is not bad at all.
More than likely the book title Dying for Revenge and Getting it.
I have not read the print version, but I did like this book. I had to listen to all of the books in the series, following the story line. I wanted to find out the conclusion of Geidon.
All the the fighting and chases in Buenos Aires.
Yes, he is a very good narrator. I have looked for other books that he has done. Listening to books gives me a new type of vision about them. I can really picture in my mind how the places, situations, & characters look.
I did laugh. None of my favorite characters died.
If you are interested in this series, start at the beginning.
I liked the book, enjoyable to listen to. Entertaining.
When the sisters are talking to each other about family relationships.
The different voices and interest and enabled me to vision the scene.
Yes, If I had the time available I'd listen to it all at one time. All of the characters were different and interesting. Each one had their own unique identity.
This is a book worth purchasing.
Yes I would. Insight into those who were employed at the White House
The historical content. Professionalism of the Butler. Getting a view on how things worked behind the scenes, concerning people who might not otherwise be known.
Giving personal insight to the Butler's life. Tone and diction.
Yes, I did.
Yes, I would. Only for those who would enjoy follow the James Patterson series. If you are into crime, mystery, and suspense you will like the book.
The Butcher, was not a favorite but complex.
Alex continues to take way too many chances, but I enjoy the entertainment that the book offers.
