Two young women are found murdered in Oslo, both drowned in their own blood. Media coverage quickly reaches fever pitch: Could this be the work of a serial killer? The crime scenes offer no coherent clues, the police investigation is stalled, and the one man who might be able to help doesn't want to be found. Traumatized by his last case, Inspector Harry Hole has lost himself in the squalor of Hong Kong's opium dens. Yet when he is compelled, at last, to return to Norway - his father is dying - Harry's buried instincts begin to take over. Then a female MP is discovered brutally murdered.

Charles Atkinson says: "Simply Fantastic! A great buy!"

Where does The Leopard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is such a good listen and a perfect follow up to our hero Harry Hole. I haven't read any of the books and I'm glad because Robin Sachs makes it worth enjoying via audible. I can't say enough about Robin Sach's talent in bringing out the gritty, bad boy hero of Harry to listeners.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. The somewhat gruesome scene of Harry's escape was downright riveting. There were parts where I lost track of the real world - I was so enthralled.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I enjoyed his second seduction by Kaya - his hopeless submission in two words was priceless.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It kept me too breathless for that but it was spell binding.
