After many years of writing rubbish, after many wonderful EARLY books, this is almost as good as his very early books. I almost didnt bother as he has been boring, and seemed as though he was just going through the motions to ontinue earning money to support his lifestyle, since his horrific motor accident, which he refers to in this books character, it is as though Stephen has COME BACK to his passion for writing. He could do better, but its worth a listen if you like his writing. Not bad at all.

This book is extremely detailed but the details are absolutely riveting, William Shirer was there when it all happened. He obviously can speak German and gives an overview of Adolph Hitler's speeches, which is fairly unusual and he interprets the personality and psychology of the man like nothing else I have ever read. It is a wonderful experience to have first hand interpretations of events as they were happening. I personally found it totally engrossing from first to last page.

Having read and been very impresseind with Helter Skelter, I really enjoyed this book. Vincent is spectacularly efficient in putting this huge subject together in a manner that is riveting for every minute of the entire book. It gives another perspective to the conspiracy theories that seem to be prevalent. He is a wonderful writer and this is a tremendous listen. As good as any suspense fiction could ever be. Nobody would be disappointed purchasing this book.

I have been a fan since his first book. Twilight Eyes in particular is excellent and I am pleased it is now on Audible. This book is so bad I find it hard to believe a writer of his calibre would risk his reputation ... Dean, do you have no shame ... do you need a buck. Boringly simular to many plotlines of haunted homes and houses, not an original concept in it.

This awesome book came out at around the same time as Stephen King's THE STAND, which is another classic I would love to see in Audible. Athough Swan Song is totally different to 'the Stand, it is somehow along the same lines, although Swan Song is more original and totally engrossing from the first to the last word. There are many surprises and nothing goes the way you expect it to. It is the best fictional book I ever read.

This book uncovers JWB in a different light to anything I thought I knew about him, it has been extremely well researched and is a fascinating listen. I always believed JWB to have been a great actor at the top of his fame, and the truth appears to be very different. He comes across as a spoilt, entitled younger brother with even less conscience and integrity and less sympathy for the southern cause than he has ever been given credit for. His brother and father are fantastic and talented men. this is a really great listen.

If you like John LeCarre's style of writing you will enjoy this one thoroughly. It is complex and fast paced and interesting from beginning to end. Worthwhile.

This book is spoken FAST FAST FAST, and is extremely hard to listen to. The speaker should SLOW DOWN. The storyline is good, although you would have to like extreme violence to enjoy it.

this book has been hyped to the max and I found it totally uninteresting. It goes on for hours about nothing worthy of listening to. It comes in three download sections, I listened to each one for about an hour, and found it unbelievably BORING BORING BORING. For me, not worth the money OR the time.

If you like books about Jack the ripper in the myriad of guises and plots in which he has been featured, this is another quite unusual version. It was enjoyable and unique. Worth a listen.
