"Fantastic"
I picked this book purely based on other peoples reviews, its really not the kind of thing that I am into but it was FANTASTIC! The narration is perfect, the story lines were a pleasure to follow. I was addicted to the book from the introduction onward, truly amazing.
"Terrible Narrator"
Its a good story
No
The narrator has the worst pronunciation I have ever encountered. Its unbelievable. Closer to the literal pronunciation computer voice synthesizers than to actual English.
This book should be re-recored. An otherwise good book is ruined by poor narration.
"Warning: Christian Propaganda"
Turns out its Christian propaganda book. Fine if you are into that thing, but no good if you wanted to actually understand what happened.
"Good Story - Sound Effects Ruin Listening"
This is actually a pretty good story, not nearly as random and unbelievable as most of Ludlem's stuff. The listen experience is very nearly ruined by the ridiculous sound effects added to the recording (gunshots, helicopter rotors, explosions, etc.) These effects make this is a hard book to listen to
"Evangelical Agenda Disguised as Fiction"
This was a complete waste of several hours of my life, read between the lines; this book is Christian evangelical babble masquerading as a thriller. That would be okay if it were even a half decent attempt but it’s terrible, the plot is more of a social agenda impugning “godless” culture and extolling the virtues of blind faith. If it were possible to give a book zero stars this would be it.
