Looking for a practical guide to the fulfillment of your dreams? Based on natural laws which govern all of creation, this audio shatters the myth that success is the result of hard work, exacting plans, or driving ambition. In The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, Deepak Chopra distills the essence of his teachings into 7 simple, yet powerful principles that can easily be applied to create success in all areas of your life.

    P. Wouters says: "Concise and powerful"
"Breath of fresh (and nicely condensed) air"
    Overall

MMM- Need a shot in the arm? Heck- we all do on occasion. Chopra serves up a pleasant gourmet of real-world wisdom with just the right blend of depth (for the deep thinkers) and originality (for the creatives). They won't allow me to stick another star up there so I guess I'll have to be content with five.

  • The Autobiography of John Stuart Mill

Mill's autobiography deals primarily with the life of the mind - but it is a mind which ranks as one of the most remarkable and significant of the nineteenth century. The book memorably depicts the emergence of a brilliant child prodigy, the product of an extraordinary education which both hastened his development and brought him to the brink of suicide by the age of 21.

    Jacquelyn says: "Fascinating childhood education"
    "Vaguely interesting"
    Overall

... incredibly dry at points purely due to the preponderance of utterly dull minutiae about matters I find it impossible to care about. It is little wonder Stuart entered into a severe state of despondency for a time. Were it not for the details of this rather interesting mental breakdown I would have rated this clumsy attempt to share a life a single star.

I guess I can't fault Mr. Pirillo on this one- there's a sucker born every minute and I guess this one's on me this time. The information contained on the audio bit will benefit those very new to the internet or personal blog hobbyists. I would not consider this professional grade info.

This amazing meeting of the minds between Anthony Robbins and Paul Zane Pilzer blows the dust off the textbooks, reanimates economic theory, and makes economics not only understandable but invaluable in making the decisions that guide your life.

Jon says: "good mix of information"
    "good mix of information"

In the beginning of the audio presentation Anthony sounds like he is rambling just a bit with typical motivational "speak". Other than this the audio bite in its entirety is well worth the money spent. I especially enjoyed the condensed economics lesson on the interview side.

Is there a method to our madness when it comes to shopping? Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as "a Sherlock Holmes for retailers," author and research company CEO Paco Underhill answers with a definitive "yes" in this witty, eye-opening report on our ever-evolving consumer culture.

Jon says: "Very valuable information for very little money"

You would be crazy NOT to buy this audio book if you are in the retail, merchandising or advertising business. This is 9 hours of outstanding information. The narrator is very engaging and does a great job of conveying the meaning of the text through voice inflection. And to top it off, Paco interjects a lot of humor into his book which left me laughing quite heartily at times. Buy this audio book now, it is money well spent!

  • The Mystery of the Aleph: Mathematics, the Kabbalah, and the Search for Infinity

Best selling author Amir Aczel (God's Equation) delves into the riddle of infinity, religion and science with "mad" mathematician Georg Cantor, in what Booklist calls "an indispensable book for anyone interested in the darker side of intellectual progress."

    Jeffrey says: "beauty in numbers"
    "The Mystery of the Aleph"
    Overall

This is a wonderful listen. You don't have to be a mathematician (which I am not) to enjoy this interesting trip in time the author has so seamlessly created. I highly recommend this program to folks who have an interest in the history of man's insatiable quest for the elusive infinity.
