Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books—but we are real.

Book one and two are very enjoyable and hold your attention from beginning to end. Book 3 was killed by the extra narrators and a slower story. Get the first 2 and think about the 3rd.

It was more than an incident: It was a deadly assault across the 38th parallel. It was the Korean War. In the fear and the frenzy of battle, those who had served with heroism before were called again by America to man the trenches and sandbag bunkers. From Pusan to the Yalu, they drove forward with commands too new and tanks too old, brothers in war, bonded together in battle as they had never been in peace....

Get these in order. Awesome story and action. What a series! This series will be a hit with all genres. I highly recomend this series to all. This is the first time I have downloaded an entire series after hearing the first two books. Worth twice the price.

They were the young ones, the bright ones, the ones with the dreams. From the Nazi-prowled wastes of North Africa to the bloody corridors of Europe, they honorably answered the call. War - it was their duty, their job, their life. They marched off as boys and they came back - those who made it - as soldiers and professionals forged in the heat of battle....

I listened to the first two books nearly non-stop and for the first time ever just downloaded the rest ot the entire series.

I should have read the reviews! It gets two stars only because the story line would have made a great book. The problem is, it was one very long lecture. After nearly every statement or question there would be 10 to 20 minutes of lecture of how this atom affects that one or how this muscle works with this blood vessell, etc...
    Pass on this one!!!

Michael Havel was flying over Idaho en route to the holiday home of his passengers when the plane's engines inexplicably died, forcing a less than perfect landing in the wilderness. And, as Michael leads his charges to safety, he begins to realize that the engine failure was not an isolated incident.

No more electricity? I can see it. Can we survive if suddenly were are thrown back in time to where we have to plant food by hand and fight off the gangs and thugs with swards and crossbows? I found myself in the struggle with them fighting off evil people and protecting the good ones. I enjoyed this and look forward to the next one.

Book 2. This one continues right from where book 1 left off. Most of the book is space battles and ground combat. Must reed book 1, into the black, before this one and if you liked it you will like this one.

Captain Eric Weston and his crew encounter horrors, wonders, monsters, and people; all of which will test their resolve, challenge their abilities, and put in sharp relief what is necessary to be a hero. A first-rate military-science-fiction epic that combines old-school space opera and modern storytelling, Into the Black: Odyssey One is a riveting, exhilarating adventure with vivid details, rich mythology, and relentless pacing.

I very much enjoyed this and look forward to the rest of the series. It feels like listening to the Honnor Harrington series. If your into space battles you wont go wrong with this one. It's easy to keep up with the different people and I found myself identifying with and rooting for many of them rather than one or two.

Hard to listen to due to the very fast narration but still worth it if your into the series. This book is not up to the standards of the others in this series but after I got used to the speed freek reading it, I got into the story and was not to dissapointed. Loved the first 3 books which made this one a book not to miss as it continued the saga. It's worth a credit if your into the series.

Until the day I met John Smith, Number Four, I'd been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay alive. Together, we are much more powerful. But it could only last so long before we had to separate to find the others.... I went to Spain to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as brave. Now we're looking for the others - including John. But so are they....
