"Destroyermen - Book 4 not up to par"
The first two were good, plot moved along very good, character development was good, battle scene were compact and well carried out, Book three was a little more contrived and forced. Book 4, to wordy and contrived, could not finish the books.
"Looking Glass Series"
Ringo has hit another home run. The character are great, the plot is great, love Two Gun and Merrium.
"Another Great Crais Book"
Plot is very good and character are good and Crais does his own dialog. Really enjoyed the book
"Love the book"
Really puts it the cry baby left wing liberals. Good read
"Good Book"
Started the book on the way home from work and could not put it down, this my 3rd Crais book and have really like all three. Joe Pike and Elvis are great characters, plots are very good
"Another Great Book by Hunter"
Bob Lee is starting to get a little long in the tooth. But a great read.
"The Traffickers"
I got hooked on the By The President Orders series, So I purchased the book even though it had bad reviews, I shoud have learned, this has a slow drawn out plot that wanders all over and ends with a wimper. Character are over developed at the expense of the Plot. I'm a fan of Scott Brick, but he could not save this book. Buyer Beware.
"First to Kill"
1st book I have listen to by Peterson, and its great. The plot is rich ingood scenes but does not get bogged down. Characters are very good. This is one of thoses books you can not put down until your done. If fact I have listen to it again and still love the book and characters, in fact I have gone out of my way to tell others.
Dick Hill is excellent and put life into the characters.
I really hope that Peterson has more books of this quality coming to us in future
"Cold Hit"
This is a very good book, it is everything I expected from Cannell. The plot moves quickly without impacting character development. Scott Brick brings the characters to life. I stayed awake till 2am just to finish the book, it was worth the pay back the next day.
"Absolution Gap - Review"
I really expected to like this book, but as it turns out, this book crawls at a slow pace, to many plots and characters. With this many characters, John Lee has problem with the voice of each, John Lee is the one the saves this novel.
I'm a hardcore SiFi fan and I just could not listen to it more than a hour at a time, I would just drift off, especially during the very vebose discription of equipment or gadgets. I guess some readers like those details, but I like a good plot that moves me and keeps me sitting in the car in the drive way awaiting the next turn of the plot.
