In the first sequel to Anne of Green Gables, Lucy Montgomery's feisty red-headed heroine is now 16 and a school teacher in the small village of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. Although older, she isn't necessarily wiser, and she hasn't outgrown her mischievous antics.

Anne of Avonlea is a wonderful timelessly sweet story. It took me back to childhood memories of reading these books and dreaming about finding friends who are kindred spirits and a boy as wonderful as Gilbert. I would recommend this book for anyone that yearns for a simpler time and a heartwarming story.

The sequel you’ve been waiting for: the follow-up to the sensational number-one best seller The Devil Wears Prada. Andrea "Andy" Sachs is on top of the world, running her own very successful high-fashion bridal magazine. But she got there with the help of her rolodex - actually, the rolodex of Miranda Priestly, her former nightmare of a boss. As Andy's success grows, she realizes she'll soon have to face Miranda. Still, Andy can hardly anticipate the horrifying reality that’s approaching - a reversal so profound that she will be squarely in Miranda’s crosshairs once more.

This book was nothing like the original. It should not have been called "Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns." The devil barely featured into this book and honestly was mostly about drama in Andy's personal life. The book really should have been titled "A Bad Marriage and Unrequited Love." An awful book don't waste your time, money or credits.

The "pig," in fact, is Gary Beech, a policeman not exactly beloved by the good people of the village. Although Agatha has every intention of leaving matters to the police....

“As The Pig Turns” was an okay book. There were twists and turns aplenty yet somehow the story was a bit flat and somewhat predictable.

"The city of San Francisco is being stalked by a huge shaved vampyre cat named Chet, and only I, Abby Normal, emergency backup mistress of the Greater Bay Area night, and my manga-haired love monkey, Foo Dog, stand between the ravenous monster and a bloody massacre of the general public. Bite Me A Love Story,” is possibly one of Christopher Moore’s funniest books. Vampires and their minions have never been so hilarious. If you need a good laugh and a break from glowing, sparkling teenage vampire drama read this book.

Fortunately her sunny nature and quirky imagination win the hearts of her reluctant foster parents and everyone in the community. I remember reading this book when I was a child and smiling from ear to ear as I read. Anne does not disappoint I laughed and smiled with Anne through her ups and downs as I recently listened as an adult. This book is a must listen.

In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.
