I really enjoyed this book. It was a slow start, but by the end I wished that I could have met the author. She was a neat lady and really did detail the average person's days during World War II. Really worth the listen.
This book was a rambling account of an interesting life. The author evidently knew that it rambled too much, because several times in the book she admits it. Her tangents weren't interesting and distracted from the plot. A skip.
Didn't care for this book. Didn't like the characters and didn't care what happened to them at all. Give this one a skip.
I really like this author's book, and this series is a lot of fun. Not crazy about the narrator though. Her kid voice is grating and made some of the characters' voices were annoying. Read these books, you will like them better that way!
This was a fun listen. I did fast forward through the recipes, but really enjoyed the view of cooking school through a student. Not sure I want to each much french food, but enjoyed the book.
I did not enjoy this book. It was sappy. The story line was interesting, but all of the characters were more interesting then Chloe. I began to wish she would go away so we could learn about the others. Waste of time.
I really enjoyed this book. The author painted a vivid picture for my mind's eye and I was enthralled by the mystery. This is an author and character that I want more of.
