I really like this author's book, and this series is a lot of fun. Not crazy about the narrator though. Her kid voice is grating and made some of the characters' voices were annoying. Read these books, you will like them better that way!

This book was a rambling account of an interesting life. The author evidently knew that it rambled too much, because several times in the book she admits it. Her tangents weren't interesting and distracted from the plot. A skip.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a slow start, but by the end I wished that I could have met the author. She was a neat lady and really did detail the average person's days during World War II. Really worth the listen.
