On a frigid New Year’s Eve in Minneapolis, a young woman’s brutalized body falls from the trunk of a car into the path of oncoming traffic. Questions as to whether she was alive or dead when she hit the icy pavement result in her macabre nickname, Zombie Doe. Unidentified and unidentifiable, she is the ninth nameless female victim of the year, and homicide detectives Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska are charged with the task of not only finding out who Zombie Doe is but who in her life hated her enough to destroy her. Was it personal? Or could it just have been a crime of opportunity?

What did you like best about Takedown Twenty? What did you like least?

I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS.. BUT WITH BOOK #20 ..THERE IS NOTHING NEW AND THE BOOKS ARE BEGINNING TO TO JUST BE SILLY... I THINK IT IS TIME FOR STEPHANIE PLUM TO RETIRE

What do you think your next listen will be?

    HUNGER GAMES

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

I LOVE HER..AND HAVE LISTEN TO OTHER BOOKS BECAUSE SHE WAS THE NARRATOR

Could you see Takedown Twenty being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

IT SHOULD NOT BE MADE INTO A MOVIE...THAT WAS TRIED ALREADY AND FAILED ..BADLY....

    Any additional comments?

LET STEPHANIE PLUM FINALLY GROW UP ,,, AND THEN RETIRE

For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This was the second book of this series that was terrible... I returned book 36 and now 37!!!

What do you think your next listen will be?

    I dont know

Would you listen to another book narrated by Susan Ericksen?

I might.. but the series is dragging on with nothing new happening.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

the narrator is good.. but the book drags on and on with no end in sight!!!

    Any additional comments?

I have read or listen to every book in this series, but this one was probably the worst..
