Chloe Marin was lucky. She was just a teenager when a party at a Florida beachside mansion turned into a savage killing spree and she was one of the few to survive. Bloody handwriting on the walls pointed to a cult whose rituals included human sacrifice. Chloe’s sketch of one of the killers linked two dead cult members found in the Everglades to the massacre, closing the case as far as the cops are concerned.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book. I like all Heather Graham books! I listened every morning while walking dogs. Very enjoyable!

If you’ve listened to books by Heather Graham before, how does this one compare?

Not my favorite, but still good.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed the reader. Good voice.

Could you see The Killing Edge being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Would definitely make a good movie. As long as they don't use the Twilight (Bella and Edward) actors! Ouch!

I don't think so. Story wasn't as good as other books. Didn't keep my interest at all.

Would you ever listen to anything by Carrie Vaughn again?

Yes, of course. One thumbs down doesn't change the other books from being a lot of fun to read!

Did Marguerite Gavin do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    She was OK.

Could you see Kitty and The Midnight Hour being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

yes, would make a good series. No clue who I would like as actor.

If you could sum up Hammered in three words, what would they be?

    Exciting series!

What other book might you compare Hammered to and why?

Dresdin files, Him Butcher. Lead characters are similar. Both work with magic and fight evil!

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice puts life into the characters. Especially like how he narrates the Irish wolfhound.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    No, just enjoyed the story.
