"Loved this book!"
This was a terrific story, wonderfully touching and yet filled with hope. A little bit of magic created by characters who are flawed, but resilient. It is a cliche, but this is a "feel good book".
Archie of course. What a wonderful funny little kid.
liked Sissy.
Thomas or Miriam for their wild lives
If you want a story to grip your attention and leave you feeling like magic is possible if people try hard enough to make a small difference in some one elses life, get this book. So much fun.
"Listen to Sample"
The story was lacking in continuity to me.
I probably wouldn't listen again to this author as he tends to spend too much time talking about society and what is wrong with it. When he was trying to be wise he just sounded judgemental to me.
The biggest problem with this book was the narrator. First it should have been narrated with a scot accent since the whole thing was in scotland and not the united states. That was very disruptive to me. Also, some of the voices he used grated on my ears like nails on a chalkboard.
Listen to a sample first before you spend your money. It wasn't what I expected.
