Thomas Kilbride is a map-obsessed schizophrenic so affected that he rarely leaves the self-imposed bastion of his bedroom. But with a computer program called Whirl360.com, he travels the world while never so much as stepping out the door. He pores over and memorizes the streets of the world. He examines every address, as well as the people who are frozen in time on his computer screen. Then he sees something that anyone else might have stumbled upon - but has not - in a street view of downtown New York City: an image in a window. An image that looks like a woman being murdered.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The story was decent. The narrator was horrible! The male lead sounded like Count dracular. I was interested in the characters.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tavia Gilbert?

Anyone would be better. She gave a terrible Italian accent to the male lead. Her voice was whiney and breathy.

    Any additional comments?

Very disappointed with this author. It was my first book. Not sure if I would try another.

Her daughters, Jade and Gracie, aren’t impressed by the rundown property on the shores of Oregon’s wild Columbia River. As soon as they pull up the isolated drive, Sarah, too, is beset by uneasy memories - of her cold, distant mother, of the half-sister who vanished without a trace, and of a long-ago night when Sarah was found on the widow’s walk, feverish and delirious.
