This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

What was most disappointing about Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl ’s story?

Totally corny; characters not well-developed; story line ridiculous. .

    Which scene was your favorite?

    None.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Beautiful Creatures?

    All of it.

    Any additional comments?

I rarely don't finish a book, but I simply couldn't endure this anymore, so I dropped about halfway through. Wasn't even interested enough to care about what would happen. Don't recommend this book to anyone really -- maybe pre-teens -- no, why would I wish this on them! Not good reading.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Not really. It wasn't suspenseful or scary at all. I was interested enough to want to get through it, but not necessarily in a good way. It was more like a chore than a pleasure.

What three words best describe Stephen King’s performance?

    mediocre, stereotypical, lackluster

Could you see Bag of Bones being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    No.

    Any additional comments?

I wish Mr. King would have done his research on mask court reporters. He totally misrepresented the trade.

Would you try another book from Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke and/or Jan Maxwell?

    No.

Would you ever listen to anything by Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke again?

    No.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Almost every character sounded like a little, old lady - even the men. Corny reading didn't help with the corny story.

How could the performance have been better?

If Scott Brick would stop singing and whining and just read!

What did you love best about Gone for Good?

My first Coben book -- and I will read more -- but there were some very predictable turns, which was annoying.

Did Jonathan Marosz do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Yes, but a bit monotone.
