The predominant message in our culture is that it's okay to have sex whenever, wherever, and however we want. Sex has become just sex. But while society has taken sex too far, the church hasn't taken it far enough. God wants couples to make love in marriage - with passion, with purpose, and with pleasure. Marriages aren't experiencing all the benefits that come from a healthy sex life. Couples are facing a barrage of influences that keep them from connecting with each other regularly - the kids, the career, the house, the errands, etc.

Would you listen to Sexperiment again? Why?

It's a great Book that address men and women issues equally. For so long it seamed like Marriage studies would beat up one spouse or the other. I really like to use Bible study material that address men & women through out the book. It's a marriage study that takes two to tango. Great Biblical perspective. Even if you do not believe in the bible, consider some of the things Ed & Lisa share and know that they can help you relationship where you are and make it better..
Also Ed & Lisa read this book. love that it's the authors who read this. you can hear the character in their voice and that make the book on Audio all that much better.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Ed & Lisa
They genuinely seam to have a care for couples and there seam to be honest in there dealing with each other.

What about Ed Young and Lisa Young ’s performance did you like?

They didn't just read the book, they helped it come alive with their voice mannerisms.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    yes for sure!

    Any additional comments?

if you hate to read, or if you travel long distance, or need something to listen to while you work out.. wow what a way to overcome the hassle it takes to find a place to focus and read.

Four US Navy SEALS departed one clear night in early July, 2005 for the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border for a reconnaissance mission. Their task was to document the activity of an al Qaeda leader rumored to have a small army in a Taliban stronghold. Five days later, only one of those Navy SEALS made it out alive. This is the story of the only survivor of Operation Redwing, SEAL team leader Marcus Luttrell, and the extraordinary firefight that led to the largest loss of life in American Navy SEAL history.

Would you listen to Lone Survivor again? Why?

if this book doesn't motivate you to get up off your but and do something with your life because the gift of freedom that you have given by Jesus and these Hard Core Warriors like this. then nothing will. Don't let them sacrifice their life be in Vain so you can just be average.. Go out pick up your boot straps and make something of yourself. These men died so that you can live.. do something about it!

What other book might you compare Lone Survivor to and why?

American Sniper... it's not the media spin on what happen over there. it's a real life account about men who not only help protect the people there, but they saw the value of the innocent people there, shared the horror of war, and were proud the could protect their fellow brothers in arms. It helps you to see they are murders by any means but they are at war agains a organization who will beat their own kids, and hold families captive to make women do their dirty work instead of come out and fight like real mean. Makes you also realize the anguish that our soldiers have to go through to do their job, and should cause you to have a deeper respect and a sense of honor for being blessed to have them as your friend or family member.

What about Kevin Collins’s performance did you like?

He's Texan, like me love the accent... But i pushed the book to 2X his reading voice. nothing agains him, i was just hungry for the story.

    Any additional comments?

it's wordy just to let you know.. not a kid friendly book. this an adult book not of the faint of heart... don't care who you are or how tough you think you are. man or woman... your going to cry in this book just use the emotion it gives to empower you to get up and get going!

The good news is that the vast majority of soldiers are loath to kill in battle. Unfortunately, modern armies, using Pavlovian and operant conditioning have developed sophisticated ways of overcoming this instinctive aversion. sophisticated ways of overcoming this instinctive aversion. The psychological cost for soldiers, as witnessed by the increase in post-traumatic stress, is devastating.
