Yes, her stories are so funny and self absorbed you get sucked into her reality. I would read it again just to see if I could be objective.
Hello? Jenny of course, though Victor must be a saint.
She lived it, or imagined it, not sure.
Pretty much the whole thing made me laugh.
I'm pretty sure there is no Jenny Lawson; she is a character created by Christopher Moore.
I have no idea how anyone can enjoy this book.
This book was so hyped, I thought it had to have some redeeming value. It is poorly written and the characters are annoying. It was the opposite of erotic. I am pretty sure a group of high school girls wrote it as a joke.
I really liked Joe Hill's first book, Heart Shaped Box - found it entertaining, clever and engaging. Horns has one element, it is clever, but it reads like a high school short story that was developed into a novel, without the character substance to support a novel. It either should have stayed a short story or offered a more complex story line or characters. The book has moments and the concept was interesting, but some of it was just boring, really boring.
