Pastor Kyle Idleman doesn't just want to be a fan of Jesus, he wants to full heartedly commit to him and be a follower of Jesus. But how can you make the leap from fan to follower? In Not a Fan Idleman uses biblical examples to show how the people who met Jesus also had to decide if they were fans or followers, and what it meant for them to then become followers.

Author Matthew Robert Payne says: "I am a follower and not a FAN"

Why is it easier to ruminate over hurt feelings than it is to bask in the warmth of feeling loved? Your brain was wired in such a way when it evolved, primed to learn quickly from bad experiences, but not so much from the good ones. It's an ancient survival mechanism that turned the brain into Velcro for the negative, but Teflon for the positive.

In What Makes Us Healthy? best-selling author and internationally renowned speaker Caroline Myss delivers a thought-provoking live lecture on the current state of our health, exploring the mystical forces that create disease or wellness. Describing our evolving - and often misguided - relationship with well-being, Myss explains that to truly be healthy, we need a better understanding of ourselves and the factors that influence our lives.

What disappointed you about What Makes Us Healthy??

This was awful, I paid to be talked down to, ridiculed, and beat up...really.

What could Caroline Myss have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Try a little positive energy...really. Caroline you need help...

What didn’t you like about Caroline Myss’s performance?

Bitter bitter and more bitter. What a total worthless time waster.

What character would you cut from What Makes Us Healthy??

Caroline needs to cut her self from the book...that would make it more worthwhile. All that negative energy just kills anything good that could come from this discussion.

What if charisma could be taught? For the first time, science and technology have taken charisma apart, figured it out and turned it into an applied science: In controlled laboratory experiments, researchers could raise or lower people's level of charisma as if they were turning a dial. What you'll find here is practical magic: unique knowledge, drawn from a variety of sciences, revealing what charisma really is and how it works. You'll get both the insights and the techniques you need to apply this knowledge. The world will become your lab, and every person you meet, a chance to experiment.

Where does The Charisma Myth rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is probably the best book on personal human to human relationship management that I have ever read.

What about Lisa Cordileione’s performance did you like?

Super job, but you can tell that some portions were over dubbed much later. The dubs are at a lover volume level.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes...you can but I am on the second listen and will be looking forward to the third and fourth.

    Any additional comments?

    Really amazing good...must read.

Great book on LEAN start ups...if you are starting from scratch this is the book to read right after you read 2 Second Lean by Paul Akers. This is my second favorite LEAN book. Good job Eric.
