The narrator does an awesome job. I even enjoyed the songs in the book that I always skimmed over.
Great to listen to since I read the book over 35 years ago.
I'ts just like the movie.
If you've seen the movie, you've pretty much heard the book.
Great ideas about time travel.
Wasn't crazy about some of the narrators, but Stefan Rudnicki was as good as ever.
The narrator in this book really kills the series. He did not take the time to listen to the previous books and thus; in my humble opinion, really messed up this one. It took me quite a bit of time to figure out who was talking because the pronunciation of names was changed so much from the first three books. I hope he learned a little something about doing research before just coming up with his own names. The previous books made it clear as to the correct pronunciation of names, but he fails to take it into consideration. Boo!
The first half of the book was narrated so badly that I could barely make out what she was saying. Where was the sound editor?
The story was only mediocre at best. Good versus bad, but you really never figure out whose side anyone is on. The ending was pretty pathetic as well. Can you say "had to stop writing this book because I don't know where it's going?" Maybe the author will figure it out in the sequel.
