Here is the spellbinding story of Abby Mason - photographer, fiancée, soon-to-be stepmother - and the consequences of her greatest error. Heartbreaking, uplifting, and beautifully told, it is a riveting tale of how life can change in an instant, of the search for the truth behind a child's disappearance, and of one woman's unwavering faith in the redemptive power of love.

    Story
What was most disappointing about Michelle Richmond’s story?

Nothing happened until the end. It was Abby searching everyday for almost a year with nothing. Several side trips of her life which had nothing to do with the story. I wouldn't recommend it. Strange ending

What aspect of Carrington Macduffie’s performance would you have changed?

    She was ok

What character would you cut from The Year of Fog?

    Goofy

    Any additional comments?

There were many loopholes. Some of the happenings just didn't have any meaning to the story. Finding Emma's shoe, then nothing? It was basically boring. It could have been exciting

When small-town Nebraska sheriff Hixon Drake meets Greta Dare, the connection couldn't be stronger, but the timing couldn't be worse. Dealing with the fallout of a divorce he never wanted and setting up a new home for his kids, Hix becomes that guy, that one he never wanted to be, and puts a stop to things before they can even start. Protecting his kids and himself is his only priority. Greta, on the other hand, has found the place for her and the brother she adores that's perfect for them - a sleepy little town in Nebraska.

There was way too many 'F' words, pretty crude . Boring story line and very explicit sex scenes . I would never read this author again

After 10 years of cleaning up the dirt on Atlanta's streets, Callahan Garrity is trading in her badge for a broom and a staff of house cleaners. But, though the uniform is a little different, Callahan soon finds herself right back in the middle of a mystery when a client's pretty, pious 19-year-old nanny is gone...along with the jewelry, silver, and a few rather sensitive real estate documents. Before she knows it, the meticulous Callahan is up to her elbows in a case involving illicit love triangles, crooked business deals, long-distance scams, and a dead body.

What disappointed you about Every Crooked Nanny?

    weak story line

What could Mary Kay Andrews have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

seemed like she was mostly interested in Mormon bashing. Its very poor taste to bash a religion in a book, and since I am Mormon, I found it especially offensive

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

    the narrator was fine

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

the accents and voice were well done

    Any additional comments?

The characters were pretty rude and intolerant of others
