Poor in health and plenty of time on my hands. I love listening to the audible books.

Nothing incites Marcus more than the primal hunger roused by his former fiancée, Elizabeth. It’s been years since she jilted him for another man, but that only means there’s a lot to catch up on, a lot to make up for, and that he’s going to enjoy every sweet moment.… The same drive and passion that sent her into another man’s arms is what brings Elizabeth back to Marcus. Her attraction to him is the one thing she fears, but she’s run out of options. Resisting is impossible. But does she have the courage to surrender everything?

    "Blah Blah Blah"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Not unless someone else narriatted it... It is hard to hear someone whinning alll the way through the book. This lady has a very whinny voice.

What other book might you compare Ask for It to and why?

How could the performance have been better?

    a decent narriator.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

no but I would check it out on TV when it didn't cost anything. The storyline is ok, but no where near one of the better ones.

    Any additional comments?

I think the story could have been worth the read. They really need to step up the narriator. This Justine Ayers sound like she was sleepy all the way through the book therefore it made me not injoy the storyline. She drew out each word so long it was as if she were whinning. Sorry, it made me not injoy the book at all. I kept wanting to fall asleep.

NOW A MAJOR BBC DRAMA starring Romola Garai, Chris O'Dowd, Gillian Anderson, Richard E. Grant, Shirley Henderson and Mark Gatiss. 'Watch your step. Keep your wits about you; you will need them....' So begins this irresistible voyage into the dark side of Victorian London. Amongst an unforgettable cast of low-lifes, physicians, businessmen, and prostitutes, meet our heroine Sugar, a young woman trying to drag herself up from the gutter any way she can.

"Boring Boring and yet more Boring"

this book is over 40 hours long and I can tell you why: Because it uses a lot of words to describe absolutely nothing. It is the most boring book I have listen to so far. I had hoped by the description that it would be a great story, however, as of chapter 5, it has told me nothing and I am so bored and frustrated with the nothingness of this book. And the tone of Jill Tanner is so blaze' and depressing. Save your money and buy a shorter book that tells a good story!!! Or at least get to the story before the book is half over.
