Karl Rove is arguably in the top 5 for most influential strategists in American Politics in the last 50 years. The book is very interesting, and you learn a lot about Rove that you wouldn't know just based on the media. Also, Karl is a great narrator. I highly recommend this book.

I really liked this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone. If you are a fair minded person you will enjoy this. I really enjoyed the stories, and if anything it's worth buying just for the section on 9/11 itself. I liked the book so much I even own the hard copy as well. It's worth the money and I will probably even listen to this again!

I generally liked the book, but it was hard to get through. I even had to take a break from it and go back to it. It was worth listening to overall from a historical standpoint, and the narrator made it as entertaining as it could be. He actually sounded very passionate about the content. If this was a print book it would have taken me a year to finish this. I have no fault with the writing, content or narrator. It just isn't what you would call riveting.

First off, when you listen to this, you feel like you are having a 1x1 conversation with Rumsfeld. This audio book conveys his emotion, tone, and personality! Some parts of this book are down right hilarious, but it's clearly not supposed to be hilarious. Second, there is a lot about Rumsfeld that I didn't know about, but I found very interesting. I am sure the list of people with federal experience comparable to Rumsfeld would be VERY short. There is a lot more to him than the Bush years.

There were many parts of the book that were addicting and had to sit in my car to wait for a chapter to finish. It's a very long book and it probably took me a month to get through it. I am very pleased with this book and highly recommend it.

This book is so good, I'm buying the hard copy as well. I really didn't know too much about the author, but now I'm a strong fan of this guy. If you have an open mind you will find this a very interesting book with useful information. It would probably be offensive to socialists and socialist Europeans. The book may be a little dramatic in terms of vilifying Obama, I don't know if I agree that the President has a diabolical plan. I do understand the scope and consequences of this administration's policies though. Dick Morris lays out fair evidence and arguments. I have bookmarked many parts of this book for my own follow up. In any case, it is very well worthwhile.

This book is very amusing, but filled with interesting information. I finished this in two days so it's very easy to get through and not boring at any level. Probably not the best O'Rourke book, but it's still worth having. I will say that O'Rourke is getting both bitter & better in age. Try it, you'll like it.

I have two girls that LOVE listening to these cute & simple stories. The stories are simple, but they still keep you interested. The narration is done very well, as you can really buy into the stories and situations. I'm sure my girls have listened to these stories at least 5 times through. If you have little girls, then this is a must have for your collection.

This book was HARD to stop listening to. The historical aspects are quite interesting, but the way the story was presented as a thriller made this a very addictive book. I will probably listen to it 2 or 3 more times. I would even like to see this as a movie, but I'd be afraid the story would become distorted. Either way, you can be sure that this is a strong value for your audio book collection!

I love the entire Little Bear series. We have the hard copy books and several of the audible copies as well. It's something nice to listen to in the car, or after reading bed time stories to your children. These stories are all sweet and entertaining to all. Highly recommended. If you are a single person with no kids, I don't see why you'd bother with this though.

The only problem with this book is that I know there is only one more in the series after this! I love this series, and I am truly saddened to know there is only one left. This piece of fiction is truly enjoyable, and if you have children, it is something you can experience together. Barry and Pearson have done an incredible job in creating a suspenseful novel that is truly engaging for adults, but appropriate to share with your children.

I felt the book started a little slowly, but the pace towards the end more than made up for it. This book is as good if not better than anything else you'd buy in any other fiction genre.
