Roundhouse Publishing editor Kate C. Leever’s first letter to her newest legacy author was intended to impress upon him the growing demand for his “vampire romances.” Though he’d expressed little to no desire for publicity, book tours or the like, it was clear that this was a writer waiting to be broken out. Correspondence with Mr. Lucern Aregeneau tended to be oddly delayed, but this time his response was quick and succinct.

This has to be the funniest book I have ever listened to or read. I listen to books while driving to and from work daily. This book had me laughing out loud over and over again. I loved Luc and Kate. They are one of my favorite
couples in all the series I have read. I highly recommend this series. I enjoyed Jeffrey Cummings narration also. It took a little while to get used to Luc's stuffy voice, but that is how Luc is.....Whoever buys this book, ENJOY!!

Born to a prominent Chicago judge and his stifled socialite wife, Mia Dennett moves against the grain as a young inner-city art teacher. One night, Mia enters a bar to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. But when he doesn't show, she unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger. With his smooth moves and modest wit, Colin Thatcher seems at first like a safe one-night stand. But following Colin home will turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia's life.

What did you love best about The Good Girl?

Wow! I'm afraid to say more than wow because I could go on and on about this book....it is one of my favorite reads. Audible suggested it (thank you Audible) because I purchased Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. The story itself pulls you in and doesn't let go. I had many emotions while listening and it left me with characters I will not forget anytime soon.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Surprisingly, Owen. His back story is gripping, a man who never had a chance because of circumstance. And if I may, Gabe is my second favorite character...he provided comic relief when he would make comments to himself that made me laugh out loud.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators were great! I love it when there are several narrators. They brought this book alive and left me wanting more.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end.

    Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a good listen. It's hard to put down and I hope the writer, Mary Kubica continues to write. I am a fan.

Fang Kattalakis isn't just a wolf. He is the brother of two of the most powerful members of the Omegrion: the ruling council that enforces the laws of the Were-Hunters. And when war erupts among the lycanthropes, sides must be chosen. Enemies are forced into shaky alliances. And when the woman Fang loves is accused of betraying her people, her only hope is that Fang believes in her.

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. I thought I loved reading her books, however, listening to Holter Graham makes the books come alive! He is the best narriator for Sherrilyn's Dark Hunter series in my opinion. Not that the others are bad, they aren't. It's just that Mr Graham makes it all seem so real. I am still listening to this book, having just finished Asheron, also done brilliantly by Mr Graham. Please Sherrilyn, pretty please! Have Mr Graham do all your books!

In Night Pleasures, Kyrian of Thrace - an immortal who protects humans from vampires - wakes up one morning handcuffed to the one thing that can scare him: a conservative woman in a button-down shirt. But Amanda Devereaux turns out to be his perfect partner for hunting down a deadly foe, and for helping him to regain his soul and learn that love doesn't have to bite.

    Overall

I absolutely loved this book. Sherrilyn Kenyon is fantanstic and the the narriator did a wonderful job too...I was sorry to see it end! If you need a book to laugh with, cry with, and just simply enjoy, then this book is for you!

I'll be purchasing more Dark-Hunter audio books in the future.
