Love is blind. The reason I used those three words is because when you first fall in love, you focus on the positive. You don't notice that your new boyfriend/girlfriend chews with his/her mouth open. You focus only on the positive. It's an excellent example used in the book to explain how positive reinforcement makes a difference in relationships.
This book offers very valuable advice on parenting! It's worth the time. I actually plan on listening again, just to make sure I don't forget the importance of positive reinforcement.
I loved this story. The end wasn't the fairy tale I'd hope for, however, it was a great story. The narrator did a great job representing all of the characters. You won't regret listening to this one. It's been a while since I've been so excited about listening to a book. Every time I had a moment to listen I would!
I think dads relate to this book very well. My husband and brother really enjoyed it. It's pretty funny.
Absolutely, this audio book was perfect!
I love the ability to follow along in a more involved manner rather than reading the text as an outsider looking in.
The narratoration inspires a deeper understanding of the people in the bible.
Greatest Story Ever Told!
Worth way more than one credit! I purchased the boxed CD set for $80, so one credit was incredible.
I wish they would have really focused on teaching instead of providing lots of information that I can't apply during an audio book. I just wanted the basics not the background of every word.
I only listened to about 3 lessons because it wasn't effective.
The narrators did a good job, the lessons were lacking.
I listened to half of the book hoping it would get better but it never delivered. I was disappointed with the ending.
The narrator did a great job. Especially, changing her voide for the different characters.
I love the writers ability to take me to a world where vampires, witches, and demons exist. It feels like a grown up version of Twilight and by "grown up" I don't mean that it's crude in any way. It's just nice to experience the story through the eyes of a grown up woman in her 30s.
My favorite character is Diana. She is a very mysterious character. It's fun to discover her secrets along with her.
It's not preachy. It's written in a manner that is easy for any listener to relate. Trust really changes everything.
I love that he has a great deal of real world experiences. I like when he shares his faults. He doesn't write the book as if he's perfect. He explained his errors and how he learned from them.
It has enabled me to understand the many aspects of trust. For instance, in the past I didn't understand why some relationships lacked trust. Now among many aspects I understand that motive is a key element. Also, I understand that if I trust someone I am more likely to give their actions the benefit of the doubt instead of jumping to negative conclusions.
My 9 year old and I really enjoyed this book. We loved the way the narrator brings life to the story. We looked forward to our drive to and from school everyday and sometimes we'd get home and sit in the car and continue listening. We are now reading the second book. My son is looking forward to listening to book 3, since book 2 isn't available on audible.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I read the first two book and I loved them. The ending has a great TWIST and she ends up with the right guy! (I won't say who he is! lol!)
