I would listen to it again to pick up on details I may have missed the first time around and to relive her early days/transition into the prison.
Very nicely written. I didn't think it was that far off from the tv show. Same general feel, though the details were different and the tv show was made to have more drama / watchable entertainment.
I'm glad I watched the entire first season of the tv show before listening to the book. The tv show was highly entertaining and funny, but the book lets you dive deeper. I coould absolutely put myself in her shoes and really liked the book.
I really enjoyed the first half or so of the book. It kept my interest and made me reflect a bit on my own life and how I could apply the concept to my own life.
The story is entirely too long and I honestly lost interest after listening to the first download. I eventually gave up with about an hour left of the second half as I just didn't care what happened anymore. (sad to say)
The book isn't one that will make you binge listen as I tend to with other books, but it definately starts out strong. Great subject matter.
Unexpected awesome twists
The main character, of course. Hugely likable and relatable
I liked how believable Scott was.
I loved the ending. No extreme reactions though
I liked Jake gyllenhaal's narration but the book was really slow. I found myself day dreaming
Accurate, honest, relatable
