Selected from sermons delivered by C. S. Lewis during World War II, these nine addresses show the beloved author and theologian bringing hope and courage in a time of great doubt. "The Weight of Glory", considered by many to be Lewis’s finest sermon of all, is an incomparable explication of virtue, goodness, desire, and glory.

Yes -it's essential basics for any writer of any age.

What about Anne Lamott’s performance did you like?

Anne Lamott is the only one who could narrate this book and give it justice. Sometimes written work is disctinct from speaking but Anne's personality and humor are vital to grasping the full genius of the book.

The book can be done in chunks easily with the brief chapters being mostly self-contained units
