Quick read in typical Binchy style. I bought it as a book under $10.00, wouldn't recommend buying it outright.
I read this book and hothouse flower right after each other and felt like I was reading the same book and could predict what was going to happen next.
I enjoyed all of the twists and turns of this novel; I appreciated all of the work put into the history accuracy and the visual explanations.
I really enjoyed this book as to the occupied France during WWII. However, the modern day plot was predictable and disappointing.
I really enjoyed this novel. I think it is the best out of her books that I have read thus far.
She seems to follow the same plot as her other novel. This book left me disliking almost all of the characters.
I loved the strong female characters, the romance, the subplots and everything about this book.
So far I have enjoyed everything that Caroline Lee has narrated and have based much of my choices on her narration. I enjoy the mysteries she narrates with strong female characters.
I didn't know it was based upon actual scrolls found in a pyramid until the end of the book. I wish I would have known sooner,it made the book much more interesting. I thought the book had a slow start, but was a great read.
This is also a Christmas book for those of you who may not have noticed.
I liked all the plot twists this book took. The character development was fantastic.
