This is the story of the celebrated Pickwick Club. The members are to report to the club on their journeys, adventures, and observations of characters and manners. Dickens creates a vivid picture of England in taking his characters along the nostalgic highways and byways of this majestic isle. This remarkable first novel made Dickens famous and has remained one of the world's best-known works.

I enjoyed this book so much as soon as it finished I wanted to listen again. Dickens is the best builder of characters in English literature history. And Pickwick and his friends are some of the best. The narration was great giving personality to each character. I had some problems with the audio quality of these download sudden changes in tone and clarity along with a constant echo. All in all thought I laughed out loud at points and enjoyed every minute. Spend the time to get to know this book it is well worth it.
