"Ca is a wheel, a masterpiece work."
I have just finished the Dark Tower VII Book. It has been a long journey for me since the first book. I have waited for years to this end. If Ca is a wheel, and it is, then I am destined to read it through again.
If you have joined me in reading the rest of the books, then you are drawn as the members of the Tet. I don?t have words to describe the journey that my mind has been on during the reading of these books. I am sure you share this feeling with me.
Mr. King, If you ever read these reviews? Accept the thanks of one reader, a legally blind music teacher. You have given me years of memories and dreams of Child Roland and the Tet. Long Days and Pleasant Nights.
"I don't agree but I like the book anyway."
Penn has a wonderful wit and tells very funny stories. I liked the idea of a Ten Commandments for Atheists and laughed out loud about many of the tales from his career
I, as a Christian, disagree with premise of the book, but I love to hear from the other side of any belief.
Penn's assertion that being an Atheist can be simply explained by saying, " I don't know". I understand his argument but of course there can't be, proof of faith as if there where proof it would not be faith. There was a phrase the Penn used 2 times in the book that I found truly offensive and over the top, but other than that, the book was thought provoking, even if I am a true believer.
Stripping at airport security! Funny!!!
Penn has respect for other faiths and encourages others to prostilaties and pray for him.
Thanks Penn for being on Audible! I coming to see the show in March. Rock out man!
"You have got to read this!"
I absolutely love the stories in this series. This book stands alone from the others and is wonderfully written and performed. I can't wait to read more.
I would compare these books to Clancy. Lots of detail and behind the scenes insight. Martial arts references are great as well. The Day By Day Armageddon Series is also much like this series of books.
The entire book kept me wanting to read, but the flashbacks or "interludes" where very well done and vital to the story line.
Heart pumping action!
I am visual impaired and I truly appreciate the Author and Audible for making these books available. I have been a member from almost the very beginning.
"Good Idea, ok read."
I love Zombie stories, and this one is a different take. I would suggest listening to the
reader as I found his delivery a bit choppy. I enjoyed the monsters but there wasn't really any back story to explain some of the monsters.
"Loved the book, plain and simple!"
The story telling of the Ender series is spellbinding. This book ran my emotions through the gambit. The deep philosophical meanings behind the words were a pleasure to embrace. I used a bit of it in my Sunday School class. Ramen, wouldn?t we all benefit from being, I loved the hive queen?s voice.
"Great read."
The story starts out in the simplest of terms with the basic laws for robots, but quickly turns into complex thought provoking mind teaser. I loved the stories told by the lives of the characters and was sad for the book to end. The story starts simply but spirals up. Must read!
