A very easy listen, that kept me on my feet. The end of the book gave a very thought provoking recap of the prior events.

A classic that many movies take ideas and concepts from. The only negative thing I have to say about this book is that sometimes it can be hard to follow, meaning to say that it does not exactly read like a television show does, as many books now do. The narration was great, just as the book.

This was an amazing book. I was aware of the threat of EMP's before reading this book, but after reading this book it makes that already known threat seem even more plausible. The concept can make for a very interesting conversation with a friend. The narration felt as if he was really in the situation. Great book and easy to follow.

Very fast quick and dirty guide. Good to listen to a few times to retain information.

I was expecting a book as good as "The Appeal" but this one let me down, especially from the fact that there was no moral to the story that I could understand. It felt just like a bunch of events happening and then it was over. I did like some of the personalities in the book though.

This book is so good for the aspiring fiction author. "Invaluable" is the most articulate word I can use for this. I have listened to this book about five or six times so far and there is no doubt that I will listen many more times.

Great philosophies, typical Ayn Rand. Definitely something you have to listen to again and again and again and again.

Many elements of this book seemed to be a copy of the ideas posed in the book "Battle Royale, by Koushun Takami". The author of this book was still interesting and it had a good story behind it though. 4/5 for the content of the book and minus 1 for the appearance of a potential idea theft.

Ayn Rand's first novel, and definitely not a disappointment. A great person versus state story that kept me interested.

This was a very interesting book. I found it annoying how they kept referring to the hero as smart and intellectual even though he rarely showed signs of that sort. Directly after I read it I didn't really care for it, but a week after my mind clicked and I understood the plot theme of the book and I was glad I read it.
