"A so so Christmas Wedding"
I was very disappointed by this book. I thought that a book by James Patterson would have been far more superior. The plot was predictable and mediocre at best. The main character was self serving and self centered, very hard to relate with. I will say the narrators did a great job because they kept the story going.
"Great listen!!!!!"
I absolutely loved this book. I was not able to stop listening to it. I was so engrossed in this book I finished in a day. If you love romance, vampires, and steamy romance you will just find this book addicting. The story had suspence and intrigue which kept it from being predictable and made me unable to stop listening. I found myself sitting in my living room telling my family to just let me listen to my book. They all know my love for romantic vampire and supernatural genre so they respected my wishes. This book was addicting! I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.
"A Novel for Humans"
If you love dogs then you will absolutely love this book. It is written from a dog's point of view and it is very clever. The book captures the love and devotion a dog has for its owner as well as how innocent they really are. I could not stop listening to the book because it was so engrossing and upbeat. I highly recommend this wonderful book!!!!
"Sarah's Key.....to what?"
This was a wonderful book and it really touched my heart. The plot was great and I could not stop listening to the book because there were so many twists and turns and I had to know what happened. At one point when I was listening to the story in my car I missed my turn because I was so engrossed in the story. The narrator was terrific and she was able to portray each character so you could envision them. I must admit I needed some tissues to get through the book!. GREAT BOOK!
"Cutting for Stone: A very LONG Novel"
The story line in this book was very interesting and unique. The unfortunate thing about the book is that the writer went off in many different directions in the plot and was extremely wordy. Once I got to about Chapter 25 the book moved faster because it did not drag as much. I feel that it was easier for me to get through the book because the narrator was excellent. If you have a lot of free time this is the book for you.
"My Journey and Healing from my Beuautiful Boy"
Within the first few paragraphs of the book I felt shivers up and down my spine because I could so relate to the pain and suffering that David Sheff felt. My son is an addict and David Sheff so perfectly described the journey and realization of addiction from a parent's perspective. I was so touched by this book that I am going to read Nic Sheff's book "Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines".
"Great Overall Book!"
I just loved this book and could not stop listening. There was action, suspense, and romance in the book. The narrator was able to make each character and individual and come alive.
