"unrealistic portrait of special education teacher"
Teachers are traditionally early to bed early to rise. It would be difficult if not impossible to keep up the pace of challenging students and stay up all night on weeknights. They would also work late most weeknights and have documents/reports to write on many nights and weekends. I think Ms. Steel should have researched how much free time and energy a special education teacher would have to devote to a personal life.
"Great from Start to Finish"
everything everything - the narrator - was funny - kept me listening - hated for it to end
no other
B
bernadette
"Chet and Bernie Rock"
Terrific Terrific Terrific
no - it isn't that kind of mystery - it is a fun quirky mystery
Chet of course
yes
The review questions don't reflect what Chet and Bernie friends would want to say. The story from Chet's point of view is just too fun.
"good tale - somewhat predictable"
was good story line
was not pleased with ending
yes
no
again - good story over all even if was predictable and I didn't care for the ending
"can't go wrong with Colleen McCullough"

"depressing"
Written well - story okay - but was really depressing - no happy endings here

"Great Read"
Its up there with the best
I love the Ceepak mysteries :). He is a fun character to follow
I have listened to all of his Ceepak mysteries. He is a terrific narrator
It kept me listening
All the Ceepak series is wonderful.
"good mystery/detective"
yes - it moves and has twists - I liked the characters
It was all good -
he was able to really get into the characters
liked Ceepak
"DON'T BUY IT"
The story was boring. The author seemed to select themes from other great mystery books and mash them all together. It didn't work. The story was boring and uneventful.
No, just to the author.
No character was my favorite but it wasn't her fault.
All!
The story was like when you put too many ingredients in a soup.....
All of the elements separately are fine but when the author mixed them together it was chaotic and lacked any bite.
The author included crazy friends/relatives, ghosts that should have been funny, love interests (the erotica added in was just silly), and the 'powers' that the main character had were woven in throughout.
Nothing about this story made the reader care about the characters.
"Improvement"
Julia was okay so I might try another narrated by her. Nora Robert's writing has been up and down so I would need a good deal of convincing to try another.
I probably wouldn't recommend it. It was an improvement over what she has been writing lately, but a long way to go to get back to some of her earlier writing.
Julia Whelan's narration was fine. The book's ending was predictable.
nothing inspiring
"Only Listened because I paid for it"
no one - was slow - plot was predictable - main character no redeeming qualities
not in this genre but from this author
had some suspense , some humor ANYTHING - was truly awful
the simpering make out sessions , the internal thoughts of the main character
Please don't waste your money on this one ...
