    This landmark production, perhaps the most ambitious radio project ever attempted, began when Star Wars creator George Lucas donated the story rights to an NPR affiliate. Writer Brian Daley adapted the film's highly visual script to the special demands and unique possibilities of radio, creating a more richly textured tale with greater emphasis on character development.

    What would have made Star Wars (Dramatized) better?

    Not the actual worst thing in the world. And to give some credit to the performance, the lines were the worst. I've listened to some of The Empire Strikes Back which was pretty good. Finally, it's okay, just could have been so much more enjoyable. Afterall, it does include some original soundtrack by John Williams which is still brilliant.
