I would definitely recommend this book. In fact, I already have!
I cried at one point during the final scenes. The author's words as read by the narrator were enthralling and I truly enjoyed the tale.
I can't recommended this novel enough!!! What a compelling story/mystery! I was enthralled from the get-go and could hardly wait to get in my car/do dishes/fold laundry in order to listen more. This book was fantastic! If only the author had more books published for me to read! I'd buy them all!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this novel...but it was pleasantly surprising and laugh out loud funny at points. Highly recommended!
If the author had stuck to telling more of the story without all of the mushy, over-the-top romance inserted all over the place.
From YA fiction? No. From this series? Yes.
I ADORE Khristine Hvam. Especially her narration of the "Chronicles of Elantra" series.
Sure. I liked the premise of the story. The interaction between Seraphim and Chimera was an interesting idea, especially since both are considered "fictitious" beings. I also liked the imagined myths explaining the war between the two species.
I wanted to learn more about Akivah and I would have loved more story development. The flashbacks worked well and the author is definitely talented, but one more comment about melting or starlight and I'm going to be sick.
