While the overall story has potential, the author decides to bring the book to a grinding halt 1/3 of the way in. Once the terrorists kill the girl, the next 2 hrs. are a waste of "character building". Extremely boring until he leaves for the Czech Republic. And then the ending was a disappointment as well (in the warehouse). At least I know what Guinea Fowl are now.
While I listened to this book purely for enjoyment, I found myself insulted by his "loose" use of "facts".
When you're tired of your basic who-done-it or love story, try this one. And when you sit down to listen, give it some time. It grows on you and you become Henry/Claire. The readers, esp. Henry are great. Even though it took 10 discs, I could have listened to more. I certainly teared up at the end when Henry....oops, you better read it yourself.
