If you could sum up Iron Gray Sea in three words, what would they be?

    Action,character development

Who was your favorite character and why?

Silva-The captain is great as are the generals but this character seems to just hit home. He sometimes seems dumb but that is far from the reality. EVERYONE should sift the characters and be prepared for a wonder ride.

What about William Dufris’s performance did you like?

The narator is perfect and needs to stay on. I bet he wouldn't quit anyhow because he wants to turn each page and see what happens next.

    Any additional comments?

If everyone on Audible could pick one book to start a series then volume one of 7 so far is the perfect place to start. I love Cussler and Lee Child but overall this is the best series. I can never turn the I-TOUCH off.

Brielle sees the world as it really is: a place where the Celestial exists side by side with human reality. But in the aftermath of a supernatural showdown, her life begins to crumble. Her boyfriend, Jake, is keeping something from her - something important. Her overprotective father has started drinking again. And he’s dating a much younger woman who makes Brielle’s skin crawl.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed Jake being woven into the story at just the right times. The Brie leading lady is the books focus and is also a good character

Have you listened to any of Cassandra Campbell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I Listened to Angel Eyes and she was excellent in both books. I hope a number three performance for her is upcoming. The narrator keeps you listening if they are good.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Visions of Heaven

    Any additional comments?

This one is it had a bad moment was that I expected more of the heavenly battle scene. Michael is introduced and described and when the battle comes where is he ? The Brie scenes dragged a little more in this book than had been the case in Angel eyes. The book kept my attention and I wish it had ended a little later. Hopefully there will be one more story on the way to Audible.

Judge Daniel Brennan is only days away from achieving a seat on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals bench when he's brutally stabbed to death in his garage. An army of media and law enforcement descend on the case, and thousands of tips pour in from the public. When one tip leads New Jersey policeman Luke Somers to Steven Gallagher, things quickly go wrong, but Luke is instantly glorified for solving the case. But to one man, Luke is no hero. Chris Gallagher raised his brother, Steven, almost single-handedly, and, certain that Steven is innocent, he won't rest until he sets the record straight.

What would have made Airtight better?

It could have been better if the AWOL soldier had not been blown up too early.

What was most disappointing about David Rosenfelt’s story?

This book ran out of gas at the halfway mark. The narrator did not do a good job when he moved away from the main characters voice. The last 25 % was predictable and the ending was anticipated. Rosenfelt is great when he does the Andy Carpenter criminal law stories but I hope this character is not repeated.

    Any additional comments?

I guess the best thing would be for a new Andy story to come out quickly so as to wash this effort away.

While it's doubtful that anyone knows his actual name or anything at all about his true identity, or even if he's still alive, he's in his mid-30s and lives completely off the grid, a criminal's criminal who does entirely as he pleases and is almost impossible to get in touch with.

Would you listen to Ghostman again? Why?

No I would not re-listen only because I only listen once. But if I had to pick one why not this one

    Which scene was your favorite?

Where Our hero played Russian Roulette with the Wolf.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The story was really three stories in one. The Hero Jack had his rules to live by and sometimes let them slide a bit. The Atlantic City robbery and it's unfolding was well constructed, especially Jacks several times escaping his own end and the backdrop story of a foreign bank job gone bad with it's relationships all kept me in the book.

    Any additional comments?

If the author's next book would use the same main character and narrator I for one would snap it up.

What does George Newbern bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings every character to stunning life

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It had humor, action, developed characters and romance. I will wait for book 2 and hope it comes out in a hurry.

I have enjoyed lots of Audible offerings but only a few have kept me listening so that I did not want to turn on the TV. I just wanted to see how the book proceeding racing toward an unknown finish.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The New Madrid Run?

The author's description of how Travis escapes from being killed by an approaching tidal wave got me invested in the story.

    Any additional comments?

This was the second title on Audible that was able to select and enjoy. The story has sadness, romance, action and lots of explosion weaved together in a story line that involves many characters.

Now audible neeeds to add more selection of the authors writing.

I have now listened to the two books released in this series. The Author keeps blending the characters in and out of the story. There is something about Angels,Demon's and Magic that just help the story stay fresh. I hope a third addition is on the way to Audible.

Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books—but we are real.

I felt like I was taking a chance when I downloaded this one. Now that I finished it in record time ( because I could not put it down ) I am sad it is finished. I read somewhere that this is a TEENS story wrapped around SI-FY. Okay that is true but to miss this one is to really miss something. I am 59 and simply glad I took a chance. I hope there are a bunch more of them coming out as a series.
