The Denver Post hails Craig Johnson's Walt Longmire mystery series as a must-read. Joining the four previous novels - all of which have been Book Sense picks - The Dark Horse puts a unique Wyoming twist on the classic British village mystery. When Longmire meets a woman jailed for her husband's death, he travels outside his usual haunts to discover the truth behind this unusual murder case.

I have enjoyed Craig Johnson books very much, the dog his daughter's his office staff and the Indian, but especially because of George Guidall. Their interview was wonderful. I have read all of Craig Johnson's books read by George. They are just wonderful and keep me walking at 65. Thanks Brenda

In this best-selling novel, Patrick D. Smith tells the story of three generations of the MacIveys, a Florida family who battle the hardships of the frontier to rise from a dirt-poor Cracker life to the wealth and standing of real estate tycoons. The story opens in 1858, when Tobias MacIvey arrives in the Florida wilderness to start a new life, and ends in 1968 with Solomon MacIvey, who realizes that the land has been exploited far beyond human need.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Land Remembered to be better than the print version?

The best Audible book in a very long time. Worth every credit I had. I would have given it a 10 Star if I could. George Guidall makes it worth while. He is wonderful, the best.

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

Everything he does is great. He can make a bad book good. BUT this book is wonderful.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Just the story. History, struggles for a new life and to better the next generation, the family pride and the Love of family.

    Any additional comments?

Worth every cent or credit you have.
